Our Services

Simply having an e-commerce site isn’t enough to be successful.  You need to manage it like any other business, and that’s a never ending exercise.  Whether or not Eniture developed your e-commerce site, we offer several services to help you succeed.  This website is an overview of those services, and exploring them off of our home page is a good place to start.  To help drill down below the overview level, here is one specific example.  If it resonates with you, or you’d like to explore other specific ways we can help you improve your e-commerce strategy, please contact us.

Conversion Optimization

In e-commerce terms, “conversion” is what happens when a visitor is presented with a web page, and then takes a desired action.  The visitor may have been presented with a product detail page, and the desired action is that the product was added to the shopping cart.  A visitor may be looking at a shopping cart, and the desired action is that the visitor completes the checkout process.  For another page, the desired action may simply be getting the visitor to signup for your weekly newsletter.  All of these are examples of “conversion.”

Can the appearance and content of a webpage affect its conversion rate?  Absolutely.  Conversion optimization is one of the things Eniture offers as part of its Internet Marketing services.  We can help you identify your conversion rates and look for areas of opportunity.  We use a scientific approach to analyzing the behavior of your website visitors.  When we’re done you’ll know which set of changes will increase a page’s conversion rate the most, and by how much.

Optimizing the conversion rate of your web pages can be one of the most productive things you do.  For example, if the conversion rate on a particular product detail page is 5%, and it has 100,000 visitors, then you will have had 5,000 sales.  If you don’t optimize the page, and have a 1% increase in the number of visitors as a result of refinements to your SEO strategy, or an email marketing campaign, you will have had 5,050 sales.  However, if you had doubled the conversion rate of that web page instead, the same 100,000 visitors would have generated 10,000 sales.  Better yet, you will have predicted the results.
