You don’t need account-specific credentials to receive shipping quotes from the ShipEngine/UPS integration. Without them, the rates will return the standard discounted UPS rates that ShipEngine makes available to its customers by default. However, if you discover that the rates you enjoy through ShipEngine differ, you can enter your account specific Carrier ID and ShipEngine API Key.

Once you enable the ShipEngine/UPS integration, it will return shipping quotes. Leave the Carrier ID and ShipEngine API Key fields blank to retrieve the standard ShipEngine discounted rates. Populate the Carrier ID and ShipEngine API Key fields to retrieve quotes specific to your account if they differ.
