Connecting the Real Time Shipping Quotes app to the carrier’s API consists of the following steps:
Obtain your Polaris Transport API Key
You must have a Polaris Transport account to use this app. If you don’t have one, contact Polaris at 800-409-2269, or request that someone contact you by filling out this form.
To connect the app to the Polaris Transport API (Application Programming Interface) you must have an API Key that was provided by Polaris Transport. If you don’t have one, email Polaris Transport at customercare@polaristransport.com. In the email, include your Polaris Transport account number or other information to help identify your account.
Connect the application to the Polaris Transport API
The Connection Settings page is used to establish the app’s connection to the carrier’s API. Enter the information prompted for, then click Save Settings. After the settings have been saved, click the Test Connection button. You’ll see a success message if the app was able to establish a connection with the carrier’s servers. If the test failed, something about your connection settings information is incorrect. Make the necessary corrections and try again. After you establish a successful connection, return to the User’s Guide for the app.
