Delivery estimate range

Leave this field blank to display the day-specific delivery estimate. Enter a number to present a range for the delivery estimate.

Choose this option if you want the estimated delivery range expressed as a beginning and ending date.

Display range as “on or before date”

Choose this option if you want the delivery estimate expressed as expected on or before the end of the estimated delivery range.

Cut off time & ship date offset These settings are relevant when a delivery estimate is displayed.

Order cut off time

When the app requests shipping quotes, it identifies a ship date. The estimated delivery date is dependent on the ship date. Enter the cut off time for orders. Orders received before the cut off time are quoted using the order date as the ship date. Orders received after the cut off time use the next available shipping day as the ship date.

When left blank, the order date will be used as the ship date when it is an available shipping day.

Fulfillment offset days

Enter the number of days to postpone the ship date. This setting is typically used when additional time is needed to process an order before it can ship.

Example 1

If an order is received before the Order cut off time on the 5th of the month and the Fulfillment offset days is set to 2 days, the ship date will be the 7th day of the month, assuming the applicable days are shipping days.

Example 2

If an order is received after the Order cut off time on the 5th of the month and the Fulfillment offset days is set to 2 days, the ship date will be the next applicable shipping day after the offset has been applied.

What days do you ship orders?

Identify the days of the week on which you ship orders. The ship date used for the rate request will be adjusted accordingly, which may affect the expected delivery date.

Tailgate delivery settings Always quote Tailgate delivery
Choose this option if you want the tailgate delivery fee to always be included in the shipping rate estimate.

Offer tailgate delivery as an option

Choose this option if you want an additional shipping option presented to the shopper during checkout that includes tailgate delivery.

Limited access settings Always quote limited access delivery
When enabled, every quote will include the carrier’s limited access delivery fee.

Offer limited access delivery as an option

When enabled, an additional shipping option will be presented to the shopper that includes limited access delivery. The shopper will be able to choose between options that exclude or include limited access delivery.

Always include limited access delivery when a residential address is detected

When enabled, if the ship-to address is identified as residential, limited access delivery will be included in the shipping rate estimate. In these cases, the option to offer limited access delivery will be suppressed even if it is enabled.

Limited access delivery fee

The limited access delivery fee may differ depending on the type of facility. Since the shopper isn’t prompted to identify the facility type, enter the amount you want collected for limited access delivery.

Handling unit settings
Weight of handling unit

Enter in pounds the weight of your pallet, skid, crate or other type of handling unit. Leave blank to disable.

Maximum weight per handling unit

Enter in pounds the maximum weight that can be placed on the handling unit. If the shipment weight exceeds this amount, additional handling units will be accounted for as needed. Leave blank to disable.

Handling fee / markup Increases the amount of each returned quote by a specified amount prior to displaying it in the shopping cart. The number entered will be interpreted as dollars and cents unless it is followed by a % sign. For example, entering 5.00 will cause $5.00 to be added to each quote. Entering 5.00% will cause each quote to be multiplied by 1.05 (= 1 + 5%). Leave blank to disable.
Weight threshold (lbs) Weight threshold
Enter the weight threshold for LTL freight in pounds. When the total weight of the products in the shopping cart meets or exceeds this value, LTL freight quotes will be included in the shipping options. The default weight threshold is 150 lbs.

Continue to display parcel rates when the weight threshold is met until the total weight of the shipment exceeds (default 500 lbs).

Choose this option if you want parcel rates to remain available after the LTL freight weight threshold is met. Enter the shipment weight at which parcel rates should no longer be displayed.

Suppress parcel rates when the weight threshold is met.

Choose this option if you don’t want parcel rates presented after the LTL freight weight threshold has been met.

Error management Quote shipping using known shipping parameters, even if other items are missing shipping parameters.
Choose this option to generate shipping quotes using the known shipping parameters. Items that are missing required shipping parameters will not be properly represented in the rate request, which may result in understated shipping rates.

Don’t quote shipping if one or more items are missing the required shipping parameters.

Choose this option if you don’t want the app to return shipping rate estimates when one or more items in the Cart are missing required shipping parameters. The Shopify Backup Rate may be presented to the shopper in these cases.

Enable Logs When enabled, an entry for Logs will appear in the app’s navigation menu. The Logs page will contain up to 25 of the most recent transactions. Use the logs to see details of the API requests and responses.
Quote details Choose where you want the details of the shipping quote selected by the shopper to be recorded.

Write the quote details to the additional details widget
