Label as Enter how you want quotes to be labeled in the checkout process. Common choices are the carrier’s name, “Freight”, “LTL Freight”, or “Shipping”.
Quote service options Enable the R+L services that you want quoted during checkout.
Delivery estimate options Choose the option that reflects how you want delivery estimates displayed with the shipping quotes.
Pallet rates I have pallet rates for the following pallet size
If you have pallet rates associated with your R+L account, choose the size from the dropdown.

Maximum weight per pallet

If you have pallet rates associated with your R+L account, enter the maximum weight allowed for the pallet.
Lift gate settings Make selections based on how you want to offer lift gate delivery. It’s possible to simultaneously enable the settings for Offer lift gate delivery as an option and Always include lift gate delivery when a residential address is detected. When both are enabled, shoppers with a commercial ship-to address will be offered lift gate delivery as a choice while shoppers with a residential ship-to address will be presented only with a quote that includes the lift gate delivery fee.
Inside delivery settings Enable this setting if you want inside delivery one of the options available to the shopper.
Hold at terminal When enabled, an option to have the order held at the delivering terminal for pick up will be one of the shipping methods presented to the user. The quoted amount will be the same as a quote to the ship-to address if it were a commercial address and would not require lift gate delivery (the “standard LTL rate”). This will be a more economical option for customers who would otherwise be subject to the residential address and/or lift gate delivery fee(s).

Storage fees may be charged if a shipment remains at the destination terminal too long. Before offering Hold At Terminal service, make sure you know when charges for storage begin. Find out if storage fees will be billed to your account, or if the receiver will need to pay them when picking up the shipment.

Enable services

Enable the services you want options for Hold At Terminal service to be based on. Use the Label As field to customize how the option will be presented to the shopper.

Mark up for hold at terminal option

Enter a mark up if you want the hold at terminal rate to be different than the standard LTL rate. Enter an amount (e.g. 5.00) for currency. Follow the number with a percent symbol (e.g. 5.00%) to mark it up by a percentage.

Weight of handling unit

Enter in pounds the weight of your pallet, skid, crate or other type of handling unit you use. The amount entered will be added to shipment weight prior to requesting a quote.

Maximum weight per handling unit

Enter in pounds the maximum weight that can be placed on the handling unit. If the total weight of the cart exceeds this value, the weight of additional handling units will be added as needed. For example, if the maximum weight is 500 LBS, and the total weight of the cart is 1200 LBS, the weight of the handling units added to the shipment shall be 3 times the weight entered in the Weight of handling unit setting. (=roundup(1200/500,0)*Weight of handling unit)
Handling Fee / Markup Increases the amount of the quote by a specified amount prior to displaying it in the shopping cart. The number entered will be interpreted as dollars and cents unless it is followed by a % sign. For example, entering 5.00 will cause $5.00 to be added to the quote. Entering 5.00% will cause each quote to be multiplied by 1.05 (= 1 + 5%). Entering a negative number will decrease the quoted amount.
Weight threshold Enter in pounds the weight threshold for LTL freight. If all items in the Cart have a default shipping method of parcel and the weight threshold is met, quotes for LTL freight will also be presented on the Shipping Methods page. (Learn more)
Quote Details Choose where you want to see the quote details. The quote details has information about what was included in the quote, such as residential or lift gate delivery. If more than one stocking location was used, each stocking location will be listed along with a list of the products that were quoted as shipping from it. The Additional Details widget is the default and preferred location because it’s visible on the Order Details page. However, if you use another app that also uses the Additional Details widget, you’ll find that the apps overwrite each other. In this case, choose the option to have the quote details written to a screen you can view from the More actions button.
